Internet Marketers – Say Yes To Your Universe

Say Yes To Your Universe

One of the most valuable lessons in life for diminishing fear is wrapped-up in the phrase “SAY YES TO YOUR UNIVERSE”. We thank author Susan Jeffers for giving us this phrase. It was uttered to a patient who was complaining bitterly about a particular circumstance in her life.

What does it mean? It’s simple – whatever happens in your life, just nod your head up and down instead of shaking it side to side. Just say yes instead of no. We have begun to incorporate this phrase into our lives with almost magical results. The Internet Marketing Myth Busters do take these things to heart and apply them into our lives.

The word ‘universe’ indicates the unexpected events that happen to you in life that so often knocks us into a tizzy.

The phrase “say yes” means accepting (and agreeing) with the things that happen to us. It means not resisting the events that ultimately shape us. It means receiving circumstances with grace and believing that all things (even bad things) are working together for your ultimate good.

However, most people are in the habit of “saying no” to their universe. They kick and scream and complain and resist everything that happens to them. “Saying No” means playing the victim again. It yells “I can’t cope – I can’t handle this – What am I going to do?”

Not only does “saying yes” help you cope with the daily disappointments of life (my roofs leaking, my car broke down, I injured my back) – but it’s also a miracle cure for handling paralyzing fear.

For example, when I was just starting out in business, I tried my hand at vending machines. I bought 3 machines costing me $15,000. After working the business for over a year, I discovered I hated it. Plus I was still working a full time job, so I had to rush around early in the morning servicing the machines and fielding complaints from my customers. I decided to quit the business and sell the machines. I discovered nobody wanted to buy them and I ended up dumping them for pennies on the dollar. My initial thoughts were – how stupid was I, what a terrible loss!

I was definitely “saying no” to that situation. I grumbled and complained so much about my own stupidity that fear crept in again. I began concluding that business was not for me and I would never try it again.

Later, I realized it was a great experience because I learned what types of businesses that I did not want to be in. I started “saying yes” to the experience. Now when I look back, I know that if I hadn’t taken that vending machine risk, I would have never learned what I did. Plus, the great things happening to me, right now, in internet marketing would have never come about… had I not built my future from past experiences, no matter how tough they were.

The I.M. Myth Busters suggest this – LEARN TO SAY YES TO YOUR UNIVERSE. It takes practice, but it offloads so much stress and helps you alleviate fear. You can’t always control what happens to you, but you can control your ‘responses’ to what happens to you – by saying YES. Your future is bright with this simple knowledge.

To saying yes to your universe,
